Meet children's Books
Author, Carole Couture
My name is Carole Couture, and I am 62 years old. My life is quite busy and rewarding. I have been a Financial Advisor for 30 years while raising by myself my wonderful son with Down Syndrome, Jean-Philippe, who will be 37 this August.
When I retired from my financial advisor career at age 58, I found myself a bit at a loss for a new life purpose, except of course to continue for caring for my son. But the idea of having a second career got to me and writing full time was my first choice.
Since my son and I are avid readers, I started writing stories for kids and inventing characters and adventures that he would enjoy reading about. I know first hand how a book can create magic in a child’s mind, be inspiring and also sometimes healing. You can also guess that I have raised a five years old child for 32 years!
I realized after about sixty (60) kid’s stories that they all shared similar messages about family, friendship, cooperation and acceptance. Core values in my life. I hope my book will bring your kids joy and also spark their own creativity. Love, Carole xxx
